Notion Calendar for Clubs & Organizations
One activity plan. A calendar your members can follow.
Notion to Calendar turns dated entries in a club or organisation planner into a subscribable schedule. Associations, volunteer groups and community organisers can keep planning in Notion while members see meetings, rehearsals and individual shifts in their own calendar apps.

How clubs & organizations use it
Example workflows for your Notion planner
Association meetings
Publish meeting dates and locations from a Notion activity database. Members subscribe to the calendar rather than relying on a copied schedule.
Volunteer shifts
Create an entry for each dated shift and filter the schedule for the relevant team. N2C shows assigned dates; it does not assign volunteers or manage attendance.
Community rehearsals
Share dated choir, theatre or ensemble rehearsals with members. Use the music page when the main need is a performer’s own gigs and recording schedule.
Activity preparation
Track a materials deadline or organiser briefing separately from the public activity. Use different calendar selections for internal and member-facing schedules.
How to connect this workflow
Use the dates you already maintain in Notion.
- Create an activity database with a title and a Date property for each meeting, shift or rehearsal.
- Use group and publication-status properties to distinguish the audiences for your schedule.
- Create a Premium Calendar Link filtered to the member-facing activities you intend to publish.
- Check the event titles and selected details, then share the link with the intended members.
Premium direct Google and Outlook connections support two-way updates for supported, mapped non-recurring events. Shared iCal links and Apple Calendar feeds send dates from Notion to the calendar; the calendar app decides when to fetch changes. Configure reminders in your calendar app.

Questions from clubs & organizations
Do all members need Notion accounts?
No. Recipients can subscribe to a shared calendar link in a compatible calendar app. They receive the selected event data without access to your Notion planner.
Is this the same as event planning?
The organisation workflow is an ongoing programme of meetings, shifts and member activities. The event-planning page focuses on delivering an individual event with vendors, setup and event-day milestones.
Will one recurring entry create every weekly meeting?
No. Create a dated Notion entry for each occurrence you want to share. N2C does not expand one entry into an ongoing series.
Does N2C manage members or attendance?
No. Keep membership, signups and attendance in your existing tools. N2C connects the dated activity entries to a calendar.

- Several Notion workspaces, one account
- Connect your personal, work or client workspaces and choose which databases to use. Each workspace keeps its own permissions.
- Direct calendar connections
- Send Notion events to a dedicated Google calendar or connect Outlook. Google edits do not update Notion. Outlook two-way beta supports selected edits on linked, non-recurring events when enabled for your connection.
- Feeds for each project
- Create multiple feeds from a database. Apply filters or start from an existing Notion view with its date field, filter and name.
- The event details you need
- Choose titles and descriptions from Notion properties. Include locations, links and attachments in compatible iCal apps. Direct connections support their own set of mapped fields.
- More dates in your calendar
- Formula date fields are supported. Premium feeds fetch a broader event window than Free.
- Share a schedule by URL
- Share an iCal feed with people who do not use Notion. Anyone with the private URL can read that feed, so share it only with the intended recipients.
- Shorter feed caching
- Premium keeps the source feed fresh more often. Calendar apps still choose when to fetch iCal subscriptions. Direct Google and Outlook connections do not wait for that polling cycle; processing is asynchronous.
