Why your events may take a while to appear in Outlook
Outlook on the web refreshes subscribed calendars on Microsoft’s own schedule — roughly every few hours, and sometimes longer. Outlook does not offer a manual refresh or a setting to change this interval. It is an Outlook limitation, not a problem with your feed. Your Notion events will always arrive; Outlook simply decides when to fetch them.

How is this different from Notion Calendar Outlook support?
Notion Calendar now lets you connect Outlook calendars inside the Notion Calendar app. Notion to Calendar does the opposite job: it sends Notion database dates to Outlook as a subscribed calendar, so people can stay in Outlook or Microsoft 365.
How do I add a Notion database to Outlook Calendar?
For direct sync, connect Outlook in the dashboard, open a calendar link, choose an existing Outlook calendar or create one, and start synchronization. You can still copy the generated iCal URL and use Add calendar → Subscribe from web when you need a read-only or shareable feed.
Why don't my events appear in Outlook immediately?
Direct sync writes through the Microsoft Graph API and does not depend on Outlook’s external-feed polling. If you use the iCal option, Outlook still chooses when to refresh it; Free rebuilds that feed every 6 hours and Premium every 5 minutes.
Can Outlook edits update Notion?
Supported non-recurring edits can update the mapped Notion page for eligible two-way beta accounts. Other accounts remain in observation or Notion-only mode until the rollout gate is passed.
How often does Outlook update my Notion calendar?
Outlook chooses when to fetch subscribed calendars, and that interval can vary. On our side, Free refreshes the feed every 6 hours and Premium every 5 minutes, so Premium changes are ready for Outlook’s next check.
Is it compatible with Microsoft 365?
Yes. The calendar feed works with Outlook on the web, the Outlook desktop app, and Microsoft 365. You subscribe to the same feed URL in any of them.
Can I add multiple Outlook calendars?
Yes, with the premium plan you can connect multiple Notion databases to different Outlook calendars.
