How to Sync Notion to Outlook Calendar in 2 Minutes (2026 Guide)

Sync a Notion database to Outlook Calendar in 2 minutes: generate an iCal feed and subscribe in Outlook on the web, desktop, or Microsoft 365. Free to start.

Microsoft 365 teams often plan in Notion but live in Outlook Calendar. Notion Calendar now connects Outlook inside the Notion Calendar app, but many teams still need Notion database dates inside Outlook itself. A subscribed iCal feed keeps Notion as the source of truth and lets Outlook display the schedule your team already manages in Notion.

Step 1: Connect your Notion database

  1. Sign in at notiontocalendar.com with Notion.
  2. Select the database with the dates you want in Outlook.
  3. Choose the date property for your events.

Step 2: Copy your calendar feed URL

  1. Open your calendar link in the dashboard.
  2. Click Get calendar link to generate the private .ics URL.
  3. Copy the URL for the next step.

Step 3: Subscribe in Outlook on the web

The same feed works in the Outlook desktop app and Microsoft 365. Outlook refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule — often every few hours. Premium feeds refresh every 5 minutes on our side.

  1. Open Outlook at outlook.office.com and go to Calendar.
  2. Click Add calendar → Subscribe from web.
  3. Paste your Notion to Calendar URL, name the calendar, and import.

One-way sync keeps Notion in control

Edit events in Notion; Outlook picks up changes on the next fetch. Calendar edits do not write back to Notion, which avoids sync conflicts and keeps your database as the single source of truth.

How this differs from Notion Calendar Outlook support

Notion Calendar is a calendar app: it brings Outlook events into the Notion Calendar interface. Notion to Calendar is a delivery layer: it makes Notion database dates available to Outlook, Microsoft 365, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and other apps that support calendar subscriptions.

Frequently asked questions

Does Notion Calendar support Outlook now?

Yes. Notion announced Outlook support for Notion Calendar in June 2026. That is useful if you want to manage Outlook inside Notion Calendar. Use Notion to Calendar when you want Notion database events to appear in Outlook itself.

Does this work with Microsoft 365?

Yes. Subscribe to the same feed URL in Outlook on the web, the desktop app, or any Microsoft 365 calendar view.

Why do Outlook updates feel slow?

Outlook controls how often it fetches subscribed calendars — typically every few hours. Our Premium plan refreshes the feed every 5 minutes so new Notion events are ready when Outlook checks.

Can I share this calendar with colleagues?

Yes. Share the private feed URL. Colleagues subscribe in their own Outlook without needing access to your Notion workspace.

Is two-way sync supported?

No. One-way Notion → Outlook via iCal is simpler and more reliable. Edit in Notion; Outlook stays read-only.
