Have you ever added an integration to your Notion workspace and later found that you need to reinstall it so it works?

Knowing how to remove them can be a lifesaver.

Notion's user-friendly interface allows you to add or remove integrations with just a few clicks. In this blog post, we're going to walk you through the process of removing an app integration from Notion.

Step 1: Access the Main Settings & Members Area

Let's get started by opening your Notion workspace. Once open, navigate the sidebar on your left-hand side, and find the ‘Settings & Members’ area (Image 1). This versatile section is where you'll be able to manage all your workspace's details, including its members, their respective roles, your billing information, and of course, the installed app integrations.

Step 3: Find the App you need to reinstall

Within the 'Connections' section, you'll see a list of the apps currently integrated with your workspace. These could range from productivity boosters like Google Calendar and Slack to design tools like Figma or Whimsical. Identify the app integration you wish to remove and focus on this for the following step (Image 3).

Step 4: Remove the App

Once you've found the app in question, look for the 'Remove' or 'Disconnect' button nearby. A gentle click on this button will effectively remove the app integration from your workspace.

One thing to remember is that only workspace admins have the privilege of removing integrations, ensuring the integrity and stability of your workspace's function.

Step 5: Reinstall the app

You’re done, but if you want to reinstall your integration to solve some issue, now it’s the time to go to the login page and login with Notion again!
